BBDO Singapore has worked with Visa on a vertical videos campaign to support small businesses. This campaign ‘Visa Supports Small Businesses’ is an extension of the global initiative ‘Where You Shop Matters’ taking place across the region in Australia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore.

The capsule campaign for smartphones includes three vertical videos that BBDO created and produced (remotely via livestream due to social distancing), highlighting three different merchants symbolic of the small business market in Singapore – a Florist owner, a Tailor shop owner and Convenience Store owner. The attention-grabbing storytelling effects and vertical aspect ratio immediately stops the viewer from scrolling. And this is the goal, to encourage small business owners to watch and be inspired to take Visa’s offer for help with their Visa eCommerce Starter Kit and leverage a variety digital capabilities Visa has to offer as well as free tools to help Small businesses digitalise and sell online, accept digital payments and connect to more shoppers.
